Starting in August 2025, Salesforce will apply a 6% price increase across core products including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, and Slack. This marks the first substantial pricing change in over seven years. The price adjustment is designed to support Salesforce’s intensified investment in embedded artificial intelligence, including generative AI features like Salesforce Einstein, Slack AI, and the new Agentforce AI assistants.
This change also comes with the mandatory bundling of AI capabilities in some tiers, leading to concerns among CIOs about cost predictability. Despite the price hikes, Salesforce promises users will gain significant value through improved productivity, automation, and smarter workflows powered by AI.
